About Comfort Matters
We are Brent and Josh. Between us we have 35 years of experience in HVAC, and in 2019 we started Comfort Matters to give every customer a professional, personal experience.
Our story
Comfort Matters grew out of a passion for the HVAC craft and for personal customer service. After years at different HVAC companies, seeing how different businesses were run, Brent and Josh felt they had the right recipe for customer satisfaction, and in 2019 Comfort Matters Heating and Cooling was born.
“We gathered our money and purchased an old dodge van for $1,400 and the dream began. It wasn't pretty but it worked”Brent and Josh
It has been hard work, and Comfort Matters has stayed true to its word. The happiness of our customers is what keeps us going and growing.
Full circle
The person who visits your home to give you options is often the same person who installs the system. Sales, service, installation, maintenance and follow-up come from the same small team, which makes for a full circle experience.
A family company
Comfort Matters is a family-run company, and we extend that same family feeling to our customers. When you choose us, you are family, and we take care of our family.

Credentials

I can't say enough about this company! Prompt response to my original inquiry, answered all my questions when stopping by to discuss and later quote me for an install, the install was flawless and meticulous. Josh was great to interact with and Jessica always had quick answers to anything I might think of. I am feeling totally spoiled this summer with our new, whisper quiet mini splits! I especially love how Josh made the exterior of the house look nice and neat and was so mindful of how he put up the duct work. Thank you guys so much!
Comfort Matters replied: Thank you for your kind words, Kristin! So glad you are loving your minisplits!
I had an amazing experience with Comfort Matters. Jess responded to my messages on the weekend and got me all set up for an early appointment on Monday to make sure my heating system was all set after some issues over the weekend. She was super nice and very responsive. James came and was so informative. Walked me through everything, answered all my questions and was just truly kind! (plus, he didn’t judge my basement of spiderwebs 😊) I cannot wait to use this team again for a quote on mini splits as well as I have been searching for a local company. Highly recommend this team!
Comfort Matters replied: Thank you for the kind comments, Amanda! Reach out anytime! 😊
